Heal your depression

Depression is a second most dreaded disease in the world. There are many treatments for depression that one can find through google search, yahoo search or wikipedia. 90% of  the people rely on anti-depression medication as cure for depression. For people who are looking at curing themselves of depression, anti-depression tablets is not the answer for cure. If you try asking people who have undergone the treatment using antidepressants, you will get your answer. Surely these tablets would give you some temporary relief and one would feel that your depression is cured but that would be just an illusion. Within few days or months of continuing with the drug one will come to know that it is a momentary effect of the tablet. The side effects that you pay for are much higher than those of the anti-depression tablets.

The above information confirms that anti-depression tablets are not the cure or a healthy solution for curing depression. So what is the solution? Homeopathy, Ayurveda, Naturopathy, Crystal therapy, Bach Flower remedy, Hypnotherapy, Psychotherapy, Positive thinking etc…are just a few of them. Besides these you can name endlessly varieties of therapies as a solution for depression.

If you are reading this article to heal your depression and if you are the one who is suffering from it and want to heal your depression….then  honestly and  sincerely surrender yourself and follow what has been said in the following paragraphs. You will be surely able to heal your depression. Further… you will not need any therapies or a therapist  as you will become your own therapist.

Let us understand why depression comes? Till now you must have known that depression is because of some chemical imbalance in your brain. You are very correct in your research but there is another depth of information which you need to understand. Depression first happens at the mind level due to which chemical changes in the body happen. So what happens at mind level which leads to body level depression?

All the diseases including depression are psychosomatic diseases. Psycho means mind somatic means body. Any disease first starts in the mind and then it enters into the body. This is a meta-physical condition. Meta means beyond physical realm. Now when a person is going through different life experiences, it may possibly happen that that person may not get what he/she wants always. That results into anger and this person is not able to express his/her anger (due to traditional cultural belief that anger is not good so one should not get angry).

Here anger gets suppressed, which later goes through repeated experiences wherein this person feels betrayed, hurt, dejected, rejected, helpless etc. These various emotions become suppressed anger. Now this anger creates chemical imbalance in the brain which doctors name it as a disease called depression. But in the real sense suppressed anger is the true cause of depression.

Now the person who is suffering from depression may either have suppressed anger on oneself , on another person, on a friend, on the spouse, on God or may be on life. This anger has to be taken out, expressed outwardly which will make that person feel better. This is the first step towards healing depression.

How a person can take his anger out is his personal choice. Person can either  write a letter to another person or to God, break some things or do whatever one feels good with to remove anger positively. Removing anger out positively means not to harm anyone physically to remove the anger for eg.. throwing  plates thinking or imagining the person on whom one is angry, using punching bag or a pillow to ventilate anger positively.

Getting your anger released feels good than being depressed. For a few days let yourself  feel angry (positively). By this time reduce your medication if you are taking any.

The second step towards healing your depression is increasing life force energy within you. Every day go and watch the open skies, trees and ocean or river which will help you to increase your life force energy. This will reduce your anger and this will give you much better result then your medication.

Don't do anything. Simply go and watch the ocean, or a river, sky and trees because they are divine. Don't analyze, don't judge, just watch them innocently.

Third step is increasing your understanding level towards yourself and life.  Accept the truths of life that is:

o  You are responsible for your life.

o  Everything happens for your growth.

o  Nothing is good or bad.

o  Everything is just an experience.

o  You always get what you need.

These are the basic truths of life. If you accept it and live it you will be able to heal your depression. We all know many things. The person who is reading this right now also must also have known about it but knowing is not enough, living the knowing is important. So depression is here to teach you something that you live your knowing and it is as simple as the way you are breathing. Just as breathing is  a natural process, in the same manner living the knowing is just as natural a process if you let it happen.
